1.1-cetanol is mainly used as detergents, surfactants, lubricants, pharmaceutical intermediates, spices and daily chemical raw materials, rice insulation agents, analytical chemical reagents, and also used as gas chromatography fixed liquid.
2.1- cetanol (GB2760--1996) is a permitted fragrance, can be used as a fragrance, emulsifier, gas chromatography fixed solution (maximum use temperature 100℃, the solvent is acetone) separation and analysis of low boiling point oxygen compounds and fatty amines.
3. Mainly used as analytical reagents, emulsifiers and chromatographic fixing liquid, and also used in synthetic spices and drugs.
4. Industrially, it can be reduced by oil or reduced by sodium borohydride to hexadecyl chloride.
